At the Children's Cooperative Nursery School, we provide a secure and nurturing environment where each child may develop self confidence, independence, respect for others, and a joy for learning. This is accomplished through play, structured activities, and positive interactions with peers and adults. Our cooperative structure supports families, and allows parents to play an integral role in their child's early education.
We are an independent, non-profit preschool located in the heart of Newton Center. Browse through the links on the left for more information and feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

Alastairs Moock's Spring Benefit Concert
The April 6 concert held at the Hyde Center in Newton Highlands, featuring Alastair Moock, was a great success. The children rocked along to songs they had become familiar with from Moock's albums, A Cow Says Moock and These Are My Friends. Breakfast was served. There was face painting and a raffle with many prizes. Lots of Coop alumni were there along with families who will be joining in the fall.
We had lots of fun and all proceeds went into the Coop tuition assistance fund. Many, many thanks to the hard working committee who put it all together.

2012 Fall Fundraiser
We would like to thank all of the business who contributed to the success of our silent auction. We were able to raise nearly $4,500 for the school despite the rain! The Coop appreciates the contributions and involvement of all the families and we are so thankful to have such a wonderful community to work with.
